Please pray for Richard as he has surgery on Tuesday (5/8) morning on his arm. Thandie said that he has in infection in his arm that has to be removed. I will post as soon as I get an update. The phone connection has been difficult the past couple of days.
Update #1 prognosis is unclear at this time. Please continue to pray for Richard. (5/8 7:30am PST).
Update #2 Richard's surgery took place at 2:30pm on Tuesday. The surgery was delayed because there were many other patients at the hospital with more serious conditions. The procedure took twenty minutes. The doctors removed an infection from his lower arm and palm. Thandie reports that the surgery went well and she hopes he will be released tomorrow. Update #3 Richard is feeling better. He is expected to be released from the hospital either late this afternoon or tomorrow. (5/9 7:15am PST)
