On their way

Please be in prayer today as Crystal Johnson and Mrs. Miller begin their journey to Malawi. They will leave today from Nashville, TN. They are expected to land in Malawi on Tuesday March 18th at 10pm (1pm PST). They will be staying at the Gentry's house. Thandie will be moving Savannah to the Gentry's in the morning before their arrival.

Please also be in prayer for the 200 lbs of luggage these ladies will be carrying with them. Among the 200 lbs are these 6 blankets for our Good Samaritan staff babies.

Special thanks to Sharon Martin at Golden Rule Travel who made the travel arrangements.

I can only imagine what Krystal must be feeling! Excitement, relief, worry all rolled into one. But to know that in less than 24 hours she will be holding her new daughter and giving Savannah Hope life back that she probably would not have had is more than my heart can handle! After being there and holding those precious African babies and then to be told later by my dad that they never made it to their 1st Birthday is devastating. When we had a African mother try to give us her baby to bring back to America (she cryed and begged us to give it a better life) I wanted so much to bring that precious baby home with me but 5 years ago that was impossible. I am praying that all goes well and "sunga sunga" (faster faster) for Krystal with the government there. Chrissie you have opened the pathway between Malawi and America that has been closed to others! Bless you for all your hard work for Savannah and VWO! Denise Kennedy

Yay!! Savannah finally gets to meet her mommy! I'll pray for both Crystal and Thandie. How heartbreaking for Thandie.

God knew what he was doing when he put this team of people together. What an awesome God we serve. Thandie will be ok, she has such a servants heart and truly wants the best for Savannah, I will keep her in my prayers even more than normal. Krystal must be on cloud nine after all she has been through, I am excited for her family to have a new sister for the other children, and a new Dad for Savanna Hope. Chrissie I am so proud of what God is doing through you. You have a gift for this and determination to see it through. Thanks for all you are doing to help the orphans of Malawi. It is indeed heartbreaking to see the small pinched faces of the Malawi babies and the dirty, condition they are in. But God can erase all of those things if we trust in him. Keep the faith, for we Christians are overcommers.
