These are Brother Gentry's puppies. They were tragically killed by a Mamba Snake this week. Brother's Gentry's grounds keeper, Rapson was able to kill the snake before any other animals or people were hurt.
Please pray for Thandie's brother Blessings. I have posted before that he has had an ongoing problem with his esophagus. This week he was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his esophagus. There is an American Cancer Project at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Malawi. Blessings has an appointment at this clinic on Thursday August 9th. Please pray that he is excepted into this program. Please also pray for God's healing.
The children at Good Samaritan are all healthy and doing well. Praise the Lord! We have many birthdays to celebrate in August. I will be posting pictures of the birthday boys and girls soon.

(sniff, sniff)...oh those poor, adorable little puppies; are those snakes poisonous (well, obviously; but...) are they usually poisonous to that region?
Mambas are very poisonous. I don't think anyone has ever survived a mamba bite. You are pretty much a gonner in about 5 minutes. They have green ones and black ones in Malawi. The one that killed the puppies was a black one. I saw one last year when I was there, some one had killed it just before I saw it. I am hoping not to see any this time around.
If we don't talk beforehand, have a very safe flight. I will be praying for you until you blog and let me (us) know that you've arrived safely. Did u get a chance to read my blog? If not, I have a praise report.....on July 30th, I went to the doctor and had an ultrasound for my leg; everything is looking GREAT...the blood flow is still excellent; so he took me off the coumadin.
