God bless you greatly, Chrissie!! Seeing all these children in Malawi really makes my heart ache to be there again. Mike leaves here Sept 20th to head over to drill more water wells. Wish I was going also - but - $$$$. I think he has raised enough money for 3 wells, if I'm not mistaken. Glad to hear Dr. Gentry made it safely. We will pray for his health as well as for you and everyone in Malawi. What a wonderful report of God healing your leg ! Hallelujah !
On a sad note - sorry to read of Thandie's brother going to Heaven. Please give her our love. Praise the Lord we will see him again. No sickness, hunger, poverty, etc., up there. Can you imagine living in Malawi Africa, experiencing the poverty there, and then dying and going to Heaven ?? We think it will be grand (and it will be), but to a Malawian....can you even begin to imagine how they must feel when they close their eyes here and open them in a place like Heaven ?! God is so good to us.
Take care - hug those kids for us and remind the orphans that another Nzungu will be there shortly. Mike loves those kids - you can't help but love them, as you well know.
We love you Chrissie,
Mike and Arlene Shanaberger
P.S. Thank you so very much for this site. I love it !!!

Missionaries to Malawi Africa through Victory World Outreach. They opened Good Samaritan Children's Home in 2003. It is the permanent home for 97 children.
Thandie and Peace
Thandie is the director of the Good Samaritan Children's Home. Peace is her 7 year old daughter.
In June 2006, I took a life changing missions trip to Malawi, Africa. I was able to return to Malawi for a month in August 2007. My body may be back in San Diego, but I surely left my heart in Malawi. I am counting down the days until the Lord allows me to return.
