Day 23 in Malawi, September 6, 2007

Day 23 in Malawi, September 6, 2007

Peanut has already changed so much in just a couple of days. Her face is filling in now and she is smiling! Today peanut went to a couple more doctor appointments. Praise the Lord that she has tested negative for all chronic diseases. Her only diagnosis at this point is severe malnutrition. She will be seeing a vision specialist next Wednesday. It seems that she can see fine, we just want to be sure everything is a-okay.

The Millers and Brother Singleton arrived safely last night. We saw the Millers today and they fell in love with peanut right away. It isn’t hard to do she is just so cute. They also brought her some clothes from America and now she is looking “smart” as they say in Malawi. A special thank you to the Miller’s church in Florida who donated the clothes for her.

Please continue to pray for our 8th graders who take the third part of their primary school completion exams tomorrow. Tomorrow is the social studies section.

Heather came home from the hospital yesterday. She is doing fine now. She didn’t have to have a plaster cast, but what they call a back slab.
