I am feeling much better today. My energy and appetite are back. This morning I headed out to Savannah-Hope’s home village to get her passport and birth certificate paperwork signed by her birthparents, chief and district officer. It took all day but was a successful trip. Savannah-Hope stayed home with the nanny and had a good day eating and getting stronger. She was supposed to spend the night with the nanny starting yesterday, but Thandie and I haven't been able to let her go quite yet. Thandie is actually taking it harder than I am which is a surprise. Savannah-Hope's clothes and personal items have already been moved next door. It will be hard to see her go even if it is only next door. I know though for her development it is best to have one primary caregiver. Today was the first day Peace was well enough to hold Savannah-Hope. She just beamed from ear to ear. Peace gave her a couple bottles, burped her and watched DVD’s with her.
Please pray for Brother Gentry he is not feeling well. I am not sure if it is the flu or a bad cold but he sounds terrible. Of course he is just as stubborn as I and hasn’t slowed down or rested. He was at the Children’s Home bright and early. He said “I’ve had better days, but I’m alive”. Also pray for Mrs. Gentry who lost her brother yesterday and is traveling out of state for his funeral.
Raxson’s baby doesn’t have a name yet.
Simion is running and playing now. Ida and Jason are feeling better but still in bed and missed school today.
